Pinstripe Calathea features large, oval-shaped leaves of a deep, glossy green painted with remarkably clean, fine lines that resemble brushstrokes of bright pink or creamy white. The underside of each leaf provides a rich contrast with a solid, vibrant burgundy or deep purple hue. As a member of the prayer plant family (Marantaceae), its leaves naturally fold upward at night and unfold during the day, constantly showcasing both sides of its dramatic foliage.
