This accessory is made with a soft, flexible copper so it can be gently adjusted to suit your plant. Due to its pliable nature, the shape may shift slightly during packaging or transit, but it can be easily molded back by hand.
Please bend slowly and with care to avoid over working the metal. Make sure your plant's soil is moist and not too compact when inserting your copper accessory.
Copper oxidation is a natural chemical reaction when copper mixes with air to form new compounds, resulting in a color change. Fresh copper starts out shiny with gold coloring and over time, the brightness darkens to dark brown as the copper oxides.
